“...but Scripture reminds us that God is not bound by what binds us.”
Dear Movement,
This past Sunday we began our new teaching series entitled More: Don’t Limit What God Can Do. Coming out of our Imagination series, where we learned to see and pursue the vision God has for us, we now turn our attention to the God who is able to do far beyond what we could ever picture or expect. In Ephesians 3:20 (NLT), Paul reminds us that God “is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” This series is not about pursuing more for ourselves, but about learning to trust in a God whose power, wisdom, and ability far exceed our own. Too often we limit God because of our circumstances, past disappointments, or limited perspective, but Scripture reminds us that God is not bound by what binds us.
My prayer is that over the next few weeks, God will expand our understanding of who He is and what He is capable of. As we grow in that understanding, we learn to pray bigger, trust deeper, and walk with greater expectation; not because of what we want, but because of who God is. I encourage you to stay connected throughout this series and invite someone who needs to be reminded that there is no limit to what God can do. God has already begun speaking to us, and I’m excited to see how our faith will grow as we continue together.
Moving forward together,
Richard M. Smith, Lead Pastor
